One day soon enough Glen, that's the plan anyways. Rex's are just so fine they cost too much for this young chap at the moment.

I've owned two now also, similar because the GS spat me off on the day I got new tyres, and this one's still got the shine on new Pirelli Angels. I don't think he made it far past the first corner from the mechanics when he decided he'd help me onto a cheap naked hoon bike, what a nice guy

I'd be more inclined to think of him as an arsehole for giving yout that!!!!  If he had crashed a GPz500S, I might consider him a nice bloke for doing that to you. But, crashing a GS500 for you, that's just punishment!!!!

Only kidding mate. They are actually a bloody good little bike. I remember a mate who's wife had one and one day for shits and giggles, he rode that instead of his MV Augusta F4i up the Reefton. I was on my YZF600 from memory and the little GS was giving me curry all the way up. The guy riding it could steer mind you, but, no better or worse than I could. Matter of fact we raced against each other and were there or thereabouts with each other every meeting. So they can actually hang a decent pace up a twisty mountain road. But, they are ugly, wouldn't pull your brother off your sister and can be contankerous fuckers to fix when they start playing up!!!! :x
