History never repeats?

Frankenbandit's for romantic pillion duties  and wheeling on the way to and from work :D

Picked up 1200cc's of muscle bike this morning. The owner must have been a bike nut he's looked after it really well and has mostly tastefully upgraded most things when they've needed replacing.

70,000k.

Penske rear and sorted front (not sure how) should have it handling.

Sag to be set for me.

Unknown pipe (haven't had a close look yet) has got a very aggressive tone and flame throwing abilities, what is it with me and flame spitting bikes  need to have a listen while riding

Black rear wheel already have, need to polish to match the front so will pick up some paint stripper and thinners tomorrow.

Screen and rear wave disk ordered from china.

Have top rack replacement and Ventura bag inherited from a mates R6 ready to go just hoping same fitment. If not I'll straighten and weld some reinforcement in existing one.

Cheap Fender eliminator and clutch lever still to be sorted.

Have until july30 to register when new rta law passes to stop write-offs being reborn.

Can't wait! :kuda:

Instead of ordering a screen what about pissing off the fairing and replacing with a train light, the nekkid blandit's were always better looking IMHO ;)

No shortage of engine hot up gear available for those mota's to Tim, you could turn it into a 1340+cc weapon

Yeah the light's been in the back of my head Phil I don't mind it from side on but don't like the view from the front. I'm thinking maybe double headlights like a street triple. :) Initially tho I just wanna get it running make sure there's no surprises and register it because time's running put for rwo's.

As far as the engine goes if all turns out well and I'm enjoying owning it you'll have to get in my ear :kuda:

I have to agree with Phil that a single front headlight would look the goods on this one Tim. A lot easier to do it that way and would look more retro. There's just as much stuff around to mod these as there is for the ZRX so it shouldn't be too hard to track down a kit to make it a simple conversion. The added bonus of losing a bit of weight over the front end is they want to wheelstand even more.
