Well everytime I build up a bike I tell myself that I am going to keep it..!! :D

But like the 675 I did, I just finished building it, same as this one, took it too the track in primer grey for a test ride and set up.. and it was basically sold by the end of the 2nd day..!! I got it painted, and took it back to the track just to do another couple of suspension adjustments and new tyres for the new owner, and it was gone then...!!

So my bikes dont really last very long... I already have had some interest in this one and I hadn't even finished building it. I guess this is because I build them all up properly and do not spare any expense... You can easily see this in my bikes.. and if I am prepared to take them to the track and risk my life on them, it is a good guarantee that the bike is good. I also take my time to set them up suspension wise etc, so they are truly 'track ready'...

They are not cheap, but everything is done. This one has only done 4,300 k's.. So how long this one will stay around for..?? who knows...

Track Report...

Well I am back from the first 2 track days on the GSXR 750...!! After spending the first day just setting everything up and getting this machine running perfectly, I finally got on the track for some serious testing...

First off, this bike feels very different to the ZX10.. very light (well extremely light) and so easy to turn.. I found myself having to correct myself with a few steering inputs as it turnd in so fast... Plenty of power, in fact i seemed to be passing most other 750's on the track with me.. but a very easy power delivery.. nothing crazy and easy to handle..

I need to mod the gearing a little more to get it right up there, I didn't realise these Suzuki's would be geared so high, I havealready gone down 1 tooth on the front.. will be going up another tooth on the rear and it will be perfect...

Overall it was a great success...!! ;) And is now back to be stripped down for some metallic blue paintwork... Stand by for more totally completed pics... :D I already have a couple of interested parties in this bike.. and like all my other track bke build up's this one will also be for sale as soon as the paint is all done... so if you are interested, let me know.. this one is a gem of a bike...!!

Stand by for more picture updates...

OK, well the project has been moving right along,

After a great 2 days testing and setting it up at the island in December, I have been able to get it painted and ready for the stickers.. Check out these shots, what an awesome paint job, Candy / Pearl exactly same as the stock colour. Only taken in the shed, it actually looks even better in the flesh. You would probably say it was too good for a track bike, but I love it, and so will the new owner since it is SOLD already...!!! 8)

Stickers being made as we speak, and Tech Spec coming also, will get them on tomorrow and the bike will be totally completed and ready for the new owner to enjoy. This one was a great build up and turned out perfectly...!!

Nice work Macca. I'm sure the new owner will be a happy chappy.
