Yet another ZRX

Postby J.B » Thu Jan 02, 2014 1:58 pm

Thought I should post up some photos of the progress on my ZRX. A few tasty bits have been added over the last few days with some more to come

Enjoy!

Thanks mate.

Yeah it's been out and around one of the local twisty roads but it's in need of some new rubber. Have new rims waiting for some fresh Dunlops to arrive

New brakes and masters waiting for the new wheels too :D

The Kerker should look the goods too. I still love them on the ZRX but I think I'm sold on this exhaust 8)

I also noticed you had a set of Conti road attack2 hoops...what did you think of them?

I never had a problem with them until this last time I went out. Had the rear stepping out on me  I was giving it a bit of a fist full though

Didn't really get a decent chance to ride these tyres in anger though, so I never really put them through their paces.

Nice mate. Is that an aftermarket CDI unit? Whats the advantage over the stocker?

Yes mate. Japanese CDI and coils, same as on some of the Japanese DOBAR race bikes.

Let's me increase the rev limiter in 200 RPM increments or turn it off completely. I can also change between 9 ignition maps from -10 deg to +8 deg change from stock. Currently on the -2. Hope to squeeze in a dyno run in the coming week.

I have a +4 advancer in mine, feels much more direct connection between the throttle and rear wheel. What is the advantage of retaring the advance?
