Yeah you won't be able load a bike onto it without being attached so there's not really much point in a jockey wheel.

Did you have fun putting it together? Crappy chinese nuts and bolts but it all seems to go together alright.

Nah you can do it just on a jockey wheel but you've got to do it quick lol
As your putting it on the trailer starts to drop down and if your quick it's all good :-)

Been there, done that, almost ended badly!
I used a set of axle stand on the rear to keep it up when the weight if the bike came onto the ramp but it was still very dicey!
Best to put it into the car then load it.

As much as i like the idea of locking nuts, after putting on 100 of them in difficult positions im ready to never look at another one. Plus the imperial nuts and bolts are really annoying. Also found out that the instructions show a couple of the members in the incorrect orientation. So i think all up i put the trailer together 2 times.

Need to fit some nuts under the front wheel channel piece that are fixed in place. That way i can remove the front wheel channel without having two people there. And folding the trailer for storage will be much simpler. I was thinking of gluing a washer an bolt on the under side...

Has anyone else done this?

I just glued the nuts to the underside of the base, no i can install / remove the front wheel channel and fold the trailer with ease

Keep an eye out at ALDI when they do their motorcycle specials, I picked up a solid Aluminium bike ramp for $35 2 years ago and hasn't let me down

Thanks to Mitch for the trailer mate, its a lot more secure than the wheel channel that came with the trailer (and cheaper). I also received the ramp and everything else i need :)

Here is the bike in its new home

Attempted to adjust the shock. Managed to adjust it one click but it was too hard and I didnt want to damage it. I even took all the weight off the shock by jacking the bike up :( Might just ask the people at the champions to do it for me (if they are capable).
