Hey EDU..

Yes I had a great chat to 'Wetty' at Eastern Creek last month about further performance mods to this model... which included the velocity stacks, full exhaust system and of course suspension upgrades... But as I haven't yet tested the bike, he suggested I do the testing first before changing anything for the moment...

I have read good reviews about the suspension.. so I should be able to dial that in pretty close before upgrading.. the brakes are awesome (same size as the ZX10 discs) the Traction Control is the same as the ZX10, so that's a good thing... Basically the bike is a really good package... so I will see how it feels before making any major changes...

Anyway, I logged on tonight to post some 'completed' pics..!! FInally got the satin black side panels fitted and yes the bike is totally completed now apart from adding the race numbers which are going on this weekend.. and of course the new Dunlop KR slick tyres.. Testing wont be until the end of September at the island.. so it's going to be a bit of a wait..!!

Check out these pics.. this one is one of my best 'race bike build ups' for sure !!!! ;-)

this 'race bike build up' does 'look good as usual macca'. i think it 'may need more inverted comma' however.

Ha Ha... no worries Six Addict.. I guess it's a 'bad habit' I have formed..!! ;-)

What's next..? Well I think I will concentrate on finishing the next 2 rounds of the Vic Interclub series.. and we have ride days coming back, I will be back at Eastern Creek as well as Phillip Island pretty much flat out from the 28th of August onwards... and from then on it just get's busier right up till Christmas...

So may not get much spare time for a while... but having said that I do have my eye on another 2013 Triumph 675.. So you never know what might happen...

Macca.. :kuda:

Race numbers now on.. so the project is now finished..!! Just waiting for the testing to begin.... ;-)

I have already ordered the 10' ZX6R velocity stacks, as this seems to be a must do mod (via Wetty).. very cheap upgrade too...

Apart from that I was looking at fitting a Translogic quickshifter as I have now on the ZX10.. very smooth and probably one of the best units out there, but I will allow the funds to build up a bit first... Will be working with the stock suspension for a start as well...

WIll update everyone as soon as it hits the track....

Hey Macca where do you get those levers and guards from?
I'd love a set for the zx10r.
