Been sitting on it pretending to ride it ever since it got here. If only there was a trackday before the 15th....

damn i want one!!!!

speaking of which, young bloke i work with (21) brought his 2003 R1 into work yesterday, it has the inch wide chicken strips to match the R6 he traded up from.

He never made it into work this morning, he's only had the bike since tuesday.....i wonder.

It would make a great track bike

Aaaaargh my eyes, the goggles do nothing.

Nice scoot mate, looks fairly tidy (for a Yamahardly)

Nice selection of bikes you have for yourself there too.

Nah the 7 is now in the most uncapable hands of my brother. I gave him a couple of sessions on it at QR and he is hooked. So we have another trackrider in the fold. The GS500 in the top pic is his too.

I think it will take me a fair bit of getting used to, the only other fast bike I have ridden apart from the 7 is Beryl's 6R and we all know how that turned out..... Anyway I will just take it easy and cruise into it. I just want to be able to scrape up enough tracktime that I am comfortable on the bike before the first race meeting in March.

That's the one Gizmo! He sold it to a dude, who couldn't keep it for some reason, and sold it straight away to Chris a year ago who I bought it off.

I remember seeing that bike when John first got it & was riding it @ MP without the raceglass, he was chasing Josh Houwen around on the YZ450 Motard & other than the traffic slowing him down he was catching Josh no worries at all & I assure you Josh is DAMN FAST!

BTW John qualified @ QR for the superbikes around the 1:14 mark so Hemi you got a lot to live up to!

Thanks for that Gizmo. Now I am going to look as slow as hell. Maybe I can say the bike has changed a lot?
