Sounded so tuff, from reports on another forum apparantly it was timed at 1:26.7...

Pity we had to watch from outside the fence but still was insane.

World wide launch of the R1 was there on Sunday as well. Completely stock bike other than Ohlins suspension package was capable of lapping with in 1 sec of Bayliss' fastest hot lap last year, but can't remember which track that was for. Looks like another tough year for Kwaka in both competitions.

lap times from saturday:
Olivier Jacque on the MotoGP bike 1:30:8 best time.
talk of the GP bike 1:28's is crap. remember they are trying to sell the team to a privateer to run to opt out of the $20M fine from dorna.

kev curtain on the '10 SBK 1:31:9. which i thnk is the pace from the season ending last round from '08???
kev was faster on the '10 than the japanese test rider on the GP bike because he over took him. TRUE!!
ben attard dont know what he did, but was fast, smooth & had to hack saw off the footpegs to stop 'em draggin around the whole track?!!
