Epstein-Barr = Glandular Fever I think.
"The Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV)......one of the most common viruses in humans. Most people become infected with EBV, which is often asymptomatic but infection commonly causes infectious mononucleosis (also known as glandular fever)."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epstein-Barr_virus"The classical symptoms are a sore throat, fever, fatigue, weight loss, malaise, pharyngeal inflammation and petechiae....."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infectious_mononucleosisI had it when I was the same age. I was a total wreck for the first week then went back to work and slowly recovered after that.
