Michelin PILOT POWER tyres!

Postby gizmo » Fri Jun 18, 2004 10:59 pm

As above!

Simply the best new tyre for the street & track on the market!

I currently have Pilot Sports, but when they are worn out in about 2000km's these will be what I get next!

I currently only get 3000km's approx form my rear Pilot sport & approx 3500kms form the front, I'm assured I can nearly double those km's from the Pilot Powers, whilst still getting heaps better traction!

Mate recently had a set fitted to his 03 R6 for $450 @ North Coast Kawasaki MAROOCHYDORE!

Only available in 70series front @ moment, but that shouldn't be any problem as R6 has 60 series & no hassles, so 65 to 70 definitely won't be!

Geez - I couldn't afford to ride with that wear rate.

3000km's? Thats the norm I'm told.
I do trackdays & I guess that uses them up abit on the sides anyways.

I do lots of clutch up wheelies, maybe that chews them up?

Hard to tell whether or not it's an AD hey...

If you only get 5000 kms or less, they are NOT the best for street...
