Swing arm welding

Thu Sep 19, 2013 1:56 pm

Does anyone know which is the correct filler wire to use on a 2010 Z1 swing arm. The small bracket (lifting point) is halfway off and need to weld it back on. Not entirely sure how I did this ad it's pointing down, and I would have expected it to be pointing up if I did something wrong the last time I had it on a stand.
Any help would be appreciated or where to get it fixed in Brisbane ( north ).

TIG welding? Use a 4043 filler rod. Goes without saying, you need an AC/DC machine.

Cheers.

Do you need to play a certain ac/dc song while you do it?
Like back in black? Or hells bells or something?
