2000 ZX6R Coolant Hose & Filter

Fri Nov 15, 2013 9:15 pm

I'm part way through rebuilding a basket case and in the process of renewing all hoses. I have one hose exiting the left side of the cylinder head and tucks around behind the head then to a small filter and up to carbie number 1. I have been told this is because the carbies are water cooled, fluid then exits from carbie number 4.
In order to identify these hoses and the filter I would like part numbers and some form of tech manual extract. I believe this set up COULD be Australian specific as the current on-line manuals have the exit port from the head blanked off with a plug shown as number 92066D.
I have seen this set-up on several bikes of my model so it is the normal set-up.
Can anyone help before I go into the local dealer and explain what I'm after.

Any nooth ith good nooth. TAR.

Good news - found what I was Looking for. If anyone needs part numbers, I can supply. Total cost to replace is around $170, the valve alone is just over $100.
