Here is the result of the removal of those horrible sticking out luggage tie points. I used the same bolts that hold the seat with helmet cables attached to them.. Just painted them matt black and i reckon it looks much cleaner. 8)

You've been busy Paul they were on ya bike last night when ya called around. I remembered looking at them and thinking to myself that they wouldn't get used very often..

Good clean job you have done there.

Cheers

I already had 2 of them ready cause when i put the seat hinge in i had to replace them. I only thought of it last week and ordered the other 2. So soon as i got home i painted them up and whacked them on. Even had time to do an oil change as well.. :D And yes they have never been used..

that looks excellent mate, I saw a 12 a couple of weeks ago that had a very similiar mod, but used plated dome-head bolts - it looks much neater than the stock fittings, thats for sure........

I did a bit more *bling* on the 12 last night myself actually, will post photos shortly..... ( indicator and mirror block-offs .....in true *wasteland* style  )

So you secretly wish you had a 12R!
I see how it is, a closet 12R fantasizer huh  go on just admit it donut boy wonder :P

Another 12R thread  it was a sports bike by design in it's time hence the "ZX" and "Ninja" descriptions in it's model name. It still will pants manya bike out there today, ask the Qld lads about which bikes that were always out front on ride days, a long way in front at that...
