Nothing a hugger won't fix - double bling & keeps the crap off ya shock as well as ya back.

Why would it make for more mud up your back? There's undertails for ZXRs on eBay and I have a hugger now, doesn't it just enclose in the area under the seat?

Do you have to remove the rear mudguard when you fit the undertray? I understand that removing the guard is the blingy bit but if I wanted to just enclose in the seat area and leave the guard bolted on (at least for the time being) could I do that? It's easy to mount the plate and indicators to without having to rig up something else, and keeps the factory look going but a little neater.

umm depends on the bike.. but i doubt it...

the cbr i just cut the mudguard down...some bikes u cant do this on, some u can....

the undertray replaces the standard mudguard etc and all the original stuff comes off...

I think it's worth the undertray, the Z's have them standard, i took the mudguard off cos it looked like the bike was giving birth or something. I also took the hugger off, i rode in the wet last weekend, and you don't get that much flicked up your back. For a pillion it will be a different story. I ride my zed everyday, and on average for the amount of wet weather riding, the improvement in looks far outways the little bit of flick-up you'll get. Plus the tail on the zed is shorter than a ZX9, so in theory you should get even less again.

If you decide to go the undertray, the hugger would have to cover almost the top half of the wheel to compensate.

cheers
Andrew
