Postby nicko » Sat Dec 29, 2007 10:22 pm

Does anyone know if there is some one who makes filler panels for the removal of grab rails on an 01 zx6r?

you can buy christmas tree plugs to fit off a stand at your local Supercheap auto..they also have rubber grommets that fit too. Check it out.

On the 12 you have to put normal bolts in place of the grab rails/tie down points, as they hold the rear ducktail on, check yours aint the same..if it is Id just put bolts with big washers in..

i got a feeling the 6 may be the same... Greeny took the rails of his and had 2 big washers under a couple of bolts...

Nah i dont think it holds it on - well the handles bolt to the subframe but dont have any mounting tabs for the duck tail

Ill take them off again and see how flimsy it is without them
