The Boots have a good reputation here in the U.S. of idiots. But considering that mental retardation is rampent in the states that may not be a good thing.

Hmmm, look I haven't been online a lot recently but I do recall seeing another thread about Bikers Gear I believe .... anyway I know 'Frog' and found him to be a pretty decent and geniune person IMO .... I'm speaking from a social perspective not from a business one.
Having said that though, I'd be surprised, if you had issues with something, if he didn't arghhh help resolve them, or address them in some way, shape or form. Seriously, I would. Just my opinion and not one based on a professional level.
Just my 2c! ;)

I think this is the thread Robyn is thinking of - viewtopic.php?f=8&t=29172&p=447322&hilit=Bikers+Gear#p447322 :D
I don't like the term insane - I prefer mentally hilarious!

Not sure if it helps but I have a pair of their kevlar jeans, they were a great price and are really well made. Their other gear also looked well made when i wandered through the shop.

Well got my boots, post was quick. They are definitely worth $150, not up to the AlpineStars (IMO), but then they weren't $400 either. Only thing I find with them is they are a good fit length wise but a bit loose around the top of my foot and my friend reckons she can feel the difference in my gear changes. Still, I would recommend as good value for money!!
