While we're on the topic of leathers,
I've found this set of alpinestars on sale in the US at a good price. Does anyone know anything about this model. I know the TZ-1 are a really good snug fit, just what I need. What about these?

In my experience, if she's at all curvy, she'll have to go custom-fitted if she was to try getting a one-piece. Off-the-rack one-pieces tend to be cut to fit square-arsed skinny little racer types, and make no allowance for things like hips and boobies.

Also, zippers which attach to jacket liners instead of waistband leather serve only to keep wind from getting into one's crack. In a stack, such a zipper will just part.

It's one way to tell good protective gear from rubbish. If a jacket has the zip running across the kidneys only instead of right the way around the waist, or if it isn't sewn into the leather, avoid it.
