Well according to the guys at Kawi-forums the average 2004 ZX6R puts out about 105hp at the wheel so there is no way thats at the wheel.

It will be the same for the 636. That wil be crank power with max ram air pressure because its the largest figure.

Speaking to Midtown the other day and asked the question, and they said the 05 will be here this month or early Jan.

Yep I saw that post to. Why waste a brand new bike sending it to Canada when its not going to be able to be ridden properly for three months. They should have delivered to the southern hemisphere first.

I saw the new 05 at whales on wed.. didn't like it one little bit. Stu did, but it's lost its *edgy* look and looks like a cross between the zx10 and the 03 zx9.. the sharpness has gone from the front, it's quite bland..

and the ass is very wide.. (for the underseat exhaust)
I think i'll be keeping my 03 for a long while yet..

the 10's are ment to have 184 hp & you see ppl that have had them on the dyno & only get around 145-155 standard

145?!?!?! Thats the lowest I've heard. Lowest I'd heard before that was about 155 at the wheel, best dyno test I saw from the 10R was 159.5....

As for a new 7R in 06, i would so love to see it. The 04 gixxer 750 sells suprising well, see quite a few around. So there's definately a market for some competition there. It prob wouldn't sell as hard as the 600s or the thous, but there's definately somethin for them.

750s seem to be the best all-rounder. They've got a bit more oomph, PARTICULARLY more mid-range, which is awesome on the streets, plenty of top end power and more than enough for nice power-wheelies. Yet not 1000cc 1:1 stupidity!

Fark, if they brought a new 7R out in 06, it'd be hard not to buy one. :P :D

OH! quote from AMCN dec issue:
Kawasaki's 2005 ZX-6R was unleashed on the world's motorcycle press at Spain's Almeria circuit in early December, with Kawasaki claiming a whopping 130PS Thans an increase of around 13ps over the 2004 model...
