just a normal car type one, i've got them from the local servo no worries. not sure of the wattage, pull it out and have a look. takes about 5 mins unlike the zzr600's

Im guessing it's a H4 55/65w. Make sure you get the base right though, my base is H7 but I think the later model Kwaka's use H4's.

u mean "earlier"??
phils got a 98 zx9r, hes the man to listen to..tho dave also has one, but he took his off so it doesnt break wen he cartwheels it (that right madkaw??)..hehe..
i remeber we had that discussion in the old forum about normal vs bright white vs blue light...damn lets not go there aging..get normal bright ass ones..also if u over watt it (put a 100w where a 60w should go) u can melt ur circuits..ohhh thats bad news too...
but think how well u can see UNTIL u fry ur bike!!

I have 55/65w H7's Xenon Opti-Blue Bulbs in mine and they certainly make the light much more brighter and whiter (blue from a distance). I got em off eBay, cheap as chips http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... 2489971243 But I have seen them in Autobarn and such for a little more dosh but not much.

If a standard H4 globe fits, then go for a PLUS 50 (50+) globe.
They are made by Phillips, Narva & Hella (just to name a few). They are the same wattage/power rating as standard & therefore draw the same current, but produce MUCH brighter light. Available at most auto-parts retailers & not too pricey if you shop around - about $20-25 for a pair and well worth the money if you do much riding at night.
I put a set in my VFR750 before I sold it and the difference was amazing!

i remeber mick (ratmick) whos a nerd (as nerdy as they come) did sum write up abt how the blue fades into the colour spectrum of UV blah blah blah..he could prob find the old post maybe?? but they were saying the really bright white ones give much better light than the bluey ones...so he said
