Very nice and its black. Would be a good buy for $10k, but then i'd have to get it down here and transfer rego etc.

thats not to hard. its about $300 for some to transport it or you can catch the train up there and ride it back

If you're asking for my opinion (I know, you're not...), I'd get the 9.

I have only ever had 6's, but that's for a couple of reasons.

1) Rego here is nearly double when you go from 600 to anything bigger.
2) Insurance is more.

Don't get me wrong, the 6 is great, and quicker than the 9 off the mark. (Well, mine is quicker than DaveZX9R's 9) and awesome to ride thru the twisties if you like the sound of a bike screaming and working hard. (Which I do.) And the blue flames coming out of my exhaust make it all worthwhile.

However, the ride from Adelaide to P.I. on the 6 is a killer!!! Not exactly made for it. I figure it would probably be a little more comfortable on the 9, BUT, only because it doesn't have to rev as hard to do the same speed.

I doubt there is much difference in pillion comfort. The rear seat size looks to be the same, and the distance from pillion seat to pegs seems to be about the same.

For the extra long-distance comfort (for rider) and increase in performance, I'd grab the 9. Or a 12.... ooooh-aaah. But pillion comfort on the 12 looks even worse than the 6. That seat is perched DAMN high!!

OR maybe you could grab a ZZR-1200?? Or that new BMW Sports bike?

Ahh, stuff it. Get the 10. You know you want to.

I'd like to here Daves thoughts on that...

I think Daves bike was putting out around 130 hp, what does your six get as it sounds like its had a bit of work on it....

Hmm, Dave will probably Deny it.. hopefully he'll come clean and admit that off the mark he was getting done.

Never had my bike on the dyno. Who wants to pay for it??

yeah.. jase got off at the lights quicker than i did, but then again i had wheelspin twice over those white lines so traction wasnt in my favour then.. i didnt exactly have sticky rubber on at the time, being the yukky michelin pilot sports so.. how about when we got to the end of the twisties? i had time to finish my beer and a couple cigs before jase finally arrived, the little girl... :cheesy: pottytrain1.gif :finga: walk.gif

my old 9 has 130hp which isnt too bad but i was impressed with my dyno result with the new 9... dyno chart attached.. 140hp!

If Rob bought that bike then there's no need for a NSW trip at this stage.
