there are 3 o rings
1 is on the outside of the pump body, sealing it from oil escape
the other 2 are between the inner pump body and the pump shaft.
any water leak from the outer o ring on the shaft 'should' leak out of the bleed hole in the bottom of the pump body; and you must be the most unlucky mofo for both seals to go simulatiously and bypass the bleed hole
now kawasaki doesnt sell the inner 2 orings, only the entire pump body at a ridiculas price, so when my one shat itself 5 years ago, i got a leaky one from the wreckers, dissassembled it and took the shaft/pump body to an engineering supply shop and got off the shelf orings to suit for about $15 (plus the time frigging around with the pump)
hope that helps
