dont like the silver one much....the 2nd one down looks pretty bloody good tho...

is it just me, or is that profile shot (the silver one across two pages of mag) really showing a LOW-ASS screen for a touring bike?
Also, what is with the circa pre-1950s twin HUGE 'n LOW pipes on that exhaust? RAISE 'em and even route them under the seat?? (I know 'tourer'= wants space under seat for putting shyte... )
and last gripe: what's with the (again circa 1950s?!) wide angular boxy tail piece? I mean, the rest of the bike is getting ZX10 parts (front indicators, etc.) why not have a half-way modern looking ducktail... i don't know, i like "tiddy units"??

OTHER THAN THAT.... LOOKS SCHMICK AS!!!! much better than the current 1200 (sorry neil and others who have one, but they are not my cuppa!)

man, just re-read all that, i musta woke up on the wrong side of the bed... or i am getting grumpy old man syndrome before my thirties!

Yep looks like it.

Looks a bit on the heavy side doesn't it? Anyone wanna guess...I'd say it would have to be about 220kg dry.

Looks nice though, and at least it keeps a family resemblance.

If that did start selling it I can see the ZX12R being dropped from the range as it would be too similar to this beasty.

Hmm, looks like a ZX12R frame, tank, forks and brakes, ZX10R front, ZZR1200 seat, half ZZR12 and ZX12 tail. At least they have made those cans shoot up on a cleaner angle.

Looks good.

Oh, did I mention that the magazine shots are mock ups? But the guy who did them has an "insider" providing the details.

The current ZZR1200 is over 230kg, 240 from memory. ZX12R's are 210Kg dry 8)

Yup the ZZR1200 is 236kg dry- 270ish fuelled up, and even more once you put stuff in the panniers, and top box if you have one....she is a BIG BIATCH! :)

I'm glad they didn't come up with the idea of a tri-oval-grey-uglylooking-titanium pipe. :P
