GPZ 4 into 1 system information

Postby leep » Tue Feb 23, 2010 10:33 pm

Hi All

I am currently running the standard 4 into 2 design on my 1984 gpz750, can anyone please tell me if any other model kawasaki exhaust systems will fit? I am looking around for a 4 into 1 to suit my beast. I wasnt sure if the 900 system would fit?

cheers :kuda:

I'd doubt if the 900 would fit, but a GT750 should. :)
2 X ZRX1200R 4 X ER6N, GT550, 1988 ZX-10, 4 X GPZ250R, 4 X GPZ900R and GPZ750R :) Yeah I like Kawasakis.

By 'fit' - if you mean *bolt straight up with no modifications* - then no. The 900 pipes won't fit - the diameter of the exhaust ports is smaller on the 750's than it is on the 9's.

But - any 4-1 off a z650/z750 will fit the ports, and also the exhaust flange-mounts have same diameter bolt holes. What you will have to modify is the rear mounting bracket. That is a pretty easy job. You will find that an exhaust of a late-model Zephyr 750 will also fit the engine, as they use the same basic design.....but once again, the rear mounting bracket will need to be modified.

Nothing wrong with a formula 1 system.
