Hi guys Merryxmas & Happy new year to all. My question is too the brainy people who know the GPZ900r 84. I want to replace my rear shock as the genuine unit is not rebuildable. I really can't afford or justify an Ohlins or similar. So I was wondering if there is a shock off another model kawasaki which would fit my 900 ?
I would appreciate any help in this area.

cheers

The ZZR110C rear shock fits with a couple of mods - 10mm bush must be replaced with a 12mm one (requires some slight machining), replacing the lower bolt with a longer one and somewhere to mount the reservoir.

Gos will probably be along soon :)

AFAIK Rad shockies in Brisbane can rebuild GPZ9 shocks for around the 200 mark

SteveM on here has lots of bits and pieces, not sure if he has a rear shock.
Try a PM.

Thank you for the help, I think I am going to go with a Wilburs shock from ASR in Melbourne, $580.00 AU 5 year warranty & from what I have been advised, better than an Ohlins & a lot less than half the price. Again thank you all for your help.

cheers
