GPX Wheels

G'day

As everyone knows tyre choices for our older GPX's is abysmal, has anyone converted to 17"? If so how difficult? I can source some ZZR 17" wheels ok but would expect there would be some issues with brakes, sprocket and even squeezing them into available space? Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated as I have had this bike (1999) since new and even though it has 65000 km's on her she is still a sweet ride for this old bugger (54 y.o)
