apart from bein a kiwi i quite like the big fella. WET4U Racing has done well from his series(plural) . it gave me a platform to start racin in front of huge crowds( FX raced along side the truck series) more than anything we see now unless you race at PI as a support . WET4U has taken home 2 Yamaha R1's as !st prize in the B privateer class 1999 and 2000 riding the fastest ZX9r C1 in the country , i still hear stories about this same bike passing new bikes down in victoria. so if you didnt have a good time a FX maybe u should give tezza a call . i had a ball. what a shame james has been nobbled , it was lookin like 1997 was startin all over again but only better.

thanx for that. i sold a couple of bikes last week so i think my long lost baby will have to come home. i've still got a bit of bling hangin about for my old girl.

and for u all i didnt win a bike, he got that wrong. 1997 i finished 2nd on my B model(again the fastest 9 around)
1998 i finished 3rd( a ZX9c1 1st and mick thomas 2nd CBR900 97) 1999 mick won on my ZX9 and still has his prize , 2000 rodney won on my ZX9 and he to still has his prize. mick then went onto ride my ZRX1100 which he won many a race on , again was the fastest naked in the country, which again i hear stories about it from QLD.

While you are walking down memory lane with the old ZX9 and ZRX you had a photo of you on the grid with a pretty little girl showing a bit of cheek.
Do you still have a copy of the photo as it was a classic??
If you do you should share it with the rest of us members.

Well just to add a slight twist to compliance dates and delivery date issue.
I rode a mates brand new MV before the mags even got one tested. Robert works in the auto wholesale finace sector and seems to move wiuth the right people. His bike was one of three imported prior to release. One was Paul feeney's (spelling), one was for the mags to test/trash, and robert scored the next one. Thyw weird weird weird thing I remember about it (cause it was cause for much conversation) was that the compliance had afuture date stamped on it. So it was registered, but not officailly complianced. Go figure... I have no explainations, but I remeber it as clear as day.

Totally unrelated I know. but interesting. sorry guys.
