ZX7 Track bike Before & After

Sun Dec 22, 2013 6:05 am

Hi guys,

Here are some pics of the ZX7 track bike I picked up last Saturday, its had a fresh paint job, some
Kaneg rear sets & Yoshi Titanium system fitted.

Waiting on the tank and lower side cowl " Kawasaki " decals , clear double bubble screen and the race
fuel cap to arrive and she is done!

If anyone is interested in the old D&D muffler & headers send me a pm.

Looks awesome !! You don't muck around , was that you last sunday at SMSP in the red group ? If so how did the bike go ??

Yeah I knocked it over pretty quickly, in saying that there was plenty of late nights last week to make it all happen.

I was at SMSP last Sunday, was garaged with Pete from Kaneg. I did also have my R1 which I used on the last 2 sessions,
the 7 was absolutely unreal ... had an absolute ball on it.

Were you out in Red also?? which bike were you on?

There was no fall , it just looked average before so I repaired and painted it.

Wow, that's come up looking great. I was talking to Pete on the weekend and it sounds like you got the bargain of the century (and I'm still kicking myself for not acting fast enough. ) So are we going to see you racing it in PCRA this year? It will also be a good bike for St George Retro Unlimited. ;)

That's the plan, I have another mate who is very keen also ( he has a SRAD 750 ) .

Did you end up getting a bike? Hope there is no bad feelings ... I am just glad I called him when I did, was a bargain for sure!
Only thing wrong with it which I just noticed yesterday is the battery seems to have thrown in the towel, aslong as that's all it
would just be wrong to complain.

Great to hear you will race it next year. I think the pre modern class will be quite healthy next season from the number of people I know that have bought bikes for it lately.

I haven't found a bike yet, but I'm still looking. It would be good to get one in time for the first PCRA round.

There's no bad feelings at all, I'm just dirty on myself for not acting when my mate first sent me the link two days before you called him!  I'm glad it went to someone decent who is going to use it and not some arsehole who wanted to just make money off it though; and you're right, it would be wrong to complain about having to put a battery in it for that price!
