It's certainly got a nice sound, from what I can hear through the helmet.
Jim had a look & thought it was a full Hindle system ? It's certainly not stock as it's all stainless & very light weight.
I put a K&N inlet filter in & disconnected all the pollution gear, so there's a nice inlet noise now.
The carbies behave perfectly so there was no effect from the pollution disconnection.
She came with a new set of tyres on the rims but when we removed the rear a chunk of rubber broke out so I replaced it with a worn out one from the throw away bin, the tyres were 10 yrs old !, so I'll sport myself a new set soon. I bought a tin of rubber softener to revive the old tyres but haven't used it yet, has anyone tried some before ?
Jim, I've been following your project in the other topic, post some pics, interested to see her as well. You have to be patient, but I can't talk, I'm riding mine now half painted & half primed but I don't care too much, doesn't effect the performance & I cant bear to have it off the road, I'm on it about 4 times a week, any excuse for a ride.
Looking forward to the quiet life !
