G'day all!

Postby GPz_aussie » Wed Jul 04, 2012 1:52 pm

G'day everybody,

Just got directed to this forum and so here I am. Kawasaki nut from Adelaide, I currently own what other people tell me is too many bikes from the 80's, but for me not quite enough yet. Have a 84 GPz750 (oil cooled), 3 GPz600R's (85-86) an RZ500 2 stroke widow maker (pity is not a kawa but its stil the focal pont of my shed). Had a 84 Gpz1100A1 untill someone turned into me and I ended up in hospital for longer than I like to be there. Also have some old yammy 2 stroke 100's (DX100, YB100 and L2G). I'm the only 30 year old I know who likes pre 90's bikes more than the new ones, spent my working career in IT so give me carbs and spanners over laptops and plastic anyday of the week.

Rebuilding two GPz900R's for friends atm so I'll be picking the heads of anyone in the know as much as you'll let me! Off to the right section of the forums as I type!

Cheers!

Hi and welcome aboard. Your 1984 GPz750 is air-cooled but might have an oil-cooler fitted ? I would love a GPz600 in the stable - and the widow maker is actually a Kawasaki H2 750/3. But a Yammie RZ500 is still a cool bike.

Do you still have any bits for the GPz1100A1 ?

Thanks for the welcome, hah yeah once I get the money and find a 750 triple I going to get one for sure, love the smell and powerband of a 2 stroke!

Still have some 1100 bits in a box at my parents house, The computer and injectors were sold though and the motor had the front wheel in it so I junked that. Think I still have some brake discs and rear shock and an almost perfect seat, and other odds and ends I for the life of me can't remember untill I look through it (scored a nice brain injury after bouncing face first off a Camira). If you're after anything let me know and I'll go through my collection.
