Sydney ZX6R Rider ... in 1 month 18 days

Postby wheresMyLid » Mon Jul 30, 2012 2:50 pm

Not that I'm counting.

Hey guys! Been riding a ZZR-250 for the last year which unfortunately got written off in a smidsy incident on a few weeks ago (driver changed lanes with out checking).

The ironic thing was that I had paid for my post lams bike the day before, a 2010 ZX6R. Unfortunately I can't ride it (legally) so have put it in to storage so I can't be tempted.

Either way only 1 month 18 days until I am back on 2 wheels, in the mean time might do some tinkering. Ordered a few things already will post up some pictures of the bike next time I head up to my family place to admire and sit on it making revving noises :rolleyes:

Cheers

-WML

Thanks guys
@Mel: sure is!
@blackster: Your definitely right. I've already done 3 rider training days with HART and stay upright. CSS is on the books once I get used to the difference between 600 and the 250 :)

This phenomenon keeps happening. It really is amazing how accommodating some of my riding mates have become since I found my self in the predicament!!

Gday and welcome mate. Beautiful bike you've got waiting for you in a month....and 17 days now :D . Well done fighting the temptation to go for a blat too, it must be a killer. Coming of the ZZR you'll love the 600. Once you're mobile again get onto some rides. Cheers

Yeah I rode it around the block a few times (couldn't help it! :oops: ), recognised instantly that it was a completely different beast. Will definitely be easing in to it.
Thanks for the warm welcome guys :)
