Become an Official at the 2010 MotoGP
July 02, 2010

The Australian round of the 2010 MotoGP World Championship is returning again in 2010, and a tremendous opportunity exists for interested people to join the team and become an Official for the event.

Australia’s biggest weekend of motorcycle racing will be held at Phillip Island on 15-17 October, and Officials will once again have the chance to be part of the fun and get up close and personal with the world’s best riders.

Australia’s own Casey Stoner will be aiming for his fourth consecutive victory at the event, and he will be facing strong competition from the likes of veterans Valentino Rossi and Dani Pedrosa, as well as from young guns Jorge Lorenzo, Ben Spies and Marco Simoncelli.

A variety of roles exists for Officials at the 2010 MotoGP - including pit marshals, flag and track marshals and communicators - and volunteering as an Official has many benefits.

These benefits include free entry for you and a friend for all three days of the event, invitation to a post-race Officials BBQ, free camping as well as the opportunity to meet and greet with riders and be involved with one of most popular global sporting events on the calendar.

This year will also see, for the first time at the Island, the introduction of the Moto2 class, with 40 riders all looking to make the next step into the Premier class, while as always, the very best of Australian Road Racing will be back on track with National support races to be held each day of the event.
That is why God made fast motorcycles, Bubba.... Hunter S. Thompson.
