Gotta take her into work tommorrow... Think I might have to get a race fairing....

Who are you currently insured through?
What size bike? etc etc

experiences well RACV are still chasing me 10 months down the track for the excess payment of the accident i had, even though it was not my fault, the other guy admitted fault to the insurance and has payed his excess. So as you can guess i do not recomend RACV.

I'm with Swann now they were alot cheaper than the others and are easier to deal with as well give them a call.

I'm currently with Arista and luckily haven't had to make a claim. I've heard here that their premiums have gone up so when the renewal comes in within the next few weeks I'll see how much it's gone up.

If it's too high I'll check out Shannons and see what they can do for me. I gave up on QBE this time last year for the same problem, massive hike in premiums over previous year, plus I had a lot of trouble with them over a claim on the car a few years ago so it wasn't a hard decision. It pays to shop around.

It might be worth checking out exactly who the mob is that Neka has got his with, if they'll insure him for $550 they'll insure anyone

I have just taken out fully comprehensive insurance with Suncorp, $790 per year, $300 excess and can pay by month. (for my new 636)
The big benefit is that with a new bike, they will (and I hope it never happens to anyone) replace with new if written off in the first two years, and as far as I know, no other insurer will go to the two years.
Oh, and can do this over phone and takes about 5 mins and its done with immediate cover!
Hope this helps

Cheers

...just implying that you wouldn't have the same insurance hassles as the younger riders here...I'm sure I've stirred you about it before, if not consider yourself stirred
