Pikes Peak Holiday

Im eyeing off my next holiday and I was looking at the Pikes Peak event.
Has anyone been or does anyone know anyone who's gone to this event?
I travelled in Europe and learnt some lessons, Im wondering if theyre applicable to the US

It's one insane hillclimb. :shock:

IMHO they wrecked it by sealing it.... :cry:
