It's nice, when

Postby kaneg » Fri Jul 27, 2012 8:55 am

what goes around comes around ...... and does so quick :D

Gone shopping for food and stuff last night. As I don't normally do that, (or do any kind of shopping really ) I was completely lost in Coles, so at some stage I asked a middle aged fellow who was stacking shelves for directions, I said to him : Excuse me Sir, could you please tell me where the water biscuits are? To which he looked up and pointed me in the right direction. As I was walking away, I thought, geez he gave me a look and he had a smirk on his face, most probably no-one called him a sir in a while (at least not in Coles)

I was packed up so , that the trolley way overflowing as I had a couple of cartons of VB plus wine in there too from the adjoining bottle shop. As I was standing at the end of a long cue, he walked up to me and said, would you like to go to register 8 where I can help you. He put my stuff through, but before he begun scanning the stuff, he put the "sorry this register is closed" sign at the end of the counter.

was a good experience :kuda:

ps. no, he wasn't gay
