Suicide Squad Movie Review (as much a warning as a review)

Postby Phantom » Tue Aug 23, 2016 11:03 am

I went to see it last night... I may be a some what jaded and cynical individual, however I'm far from being suicidal... that
course of action would please my enemies, and I'm not going there... having said that, 5 minutes into that 175 million US
dollar insult to original thought, logic and reason; I was kind of hoping I would drop dead, as my morbid curiosity forced
me to remain seated to the unclimactic end of the greatest cinematic absurdity I have ever endured.

"It" is a copy of numerous other super hero fliks... A kind of montage. Unlike most plagiarists though, this is where the
creators found "originality";
instead of copying the good, they copied the bad.

What really screws my mind is the fact that so far it has grossed point 5 billion US dollars... We are morons...

In my defence, I'm only half moronic, as I viewed it for "half" price at my local Readings flea pit. :-/

So much crap gets made.

I won't even bother to spend time to download or stream a movie unless it scores well on www.rottentomatoes.com, let alone go to the movies and dish out hard-earned cash and waste more time.

More and more TV shows are where real quality is to be found. Series like Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Mr Robot occupy any viewing time I have these days and are well worth the investment.

That's why I have kodi & popcorn time. Even when 'free' I wouldn't spend 10 min on them.

The recent Star Trek OTOH, 100% worth my time & money going to the cinema.
