Bundaberg floods

Postby Gosling1 » Sun Jan 27, 2013 6:46 pm

saw the footage tonight

FMD it looks crook up that way - my parents stay at Bargarra for 4 months every year - it got ripped apart yesterday.

Hoping that kawadave and my old mate Syd Poole are all OK - both of them are Bundie residents......

Cheers Gos and Garry... :D

After 300mm of rain and wind gusts up to 90kp/h...survived another :kuda:

No shit.. last night,I felt my body levitating from the bed with the high winds and rain.

Bargara had mini tornado's that wreaked havoc on parts of the town.
Flooding is sure to follow....again!!!

Beware!!! its coming to a town near you.

Here's a couple of pics from home....

Lost my pencil pine into the neighbors front yard...narrowly missing his house.

My lovely pool looks like the green slime lagoon....

Over the road neighbors tree coped it as well....

glad to hear you are OK mate - lots of low-level flooding footage from Bundy on ABC news tonight - looked really bad. I am guessing you are not in the low-level zones ??

Glad to hear you're ok Dave, must have been a frightening ordeal. Some of the footage has been quite the eye opener. Lucky your garage housing all those beauties is high and dry.

Here's a pic of the Bundy town area....

Under that bridge there is normally 40ft of clearance.
