GPXTim2 has a throttle lock on his GPX. It works great... as he goes past me on the freeway sitting on the pillion seat or no handed burnouts at the Island.
Not sure were he got it. I will find out for ya.

I used one on my my Honda ST1100 in a former life. It was ok provided you remebered it was there. The throttle lock was better value than the cruise control thing for east coast riding. I find there is absolutely no need for it on the ZX10r despite my cruising genes.

Sometimes on longer rides - I'll fit a throttle rocker to the barge Froggy - it just clips on over the end of the handgrip, and you can rest your wrist on the rocker section. Its not a 'locker' as such, but it does allow you to give your fingers a rest and get rid of the pins & needles you get .......has to come off for any strops though, it gets in the fucken way !

Only takes a second to install or remove.... :kuda:

I use a Caterpillar O-ring on my ZRX. Costs around $3 and it works awesome. Do a Google search on them. Two sizes depending on which size your end weight is. :)

A sliver of inner tube slipped over the bar end but rolled half on top of itself. When you want to use it, roll the excess over onto the throttle. Roll it back when not in use. I call it the "Foreskin Cruiser" for obvious reasons......

You can also se a wire coat hanger too,

Loop it around the throttle close to the switch block, reasonably tight

Make sue you twist it with enough sticking out that it can reach the brake lever

Get to requir speed , then push the twisted part down onto the brake lever, if you've got it tight enough it shouldn't slip.

Voila, poor mans friction lock :)
