Got a call from my bike shop today.... thank f**k it was a shit thread on number 3 spark plug so 4 new plugs and new leads etc i get her back Monday.......

Kinda spewed today, took my ZX636 down to the bike shop this morning for suspected blown exhaust gaskets, (to me that's what it really sounded like as there seemed to be no real loss of power), when I rang to see how the bike was going they said nothing wrong with gaskets, the popping ...

Apparently the guy I bought it off said the previous owner to him , "cleaned out" the inner workings of the under seat muffler, but is still the factory original, just not too sure what "cleaned out" inner workings means?? not sure if that could have something to do with it or not. Strange, lovely ...

The other day riding to work in the belting down rain I noticed for the first time the FI warning light came on, it ended up happening 3 or 4 times ONLY when coming to a stop, it would stay on for about 3-4 seconds then go out. On the ride home it didn't happen once, that was Thursday ...

At present I get the fuel warning light around 210Km then it takes about 14 ltrs to fill it, giving me roughly 15km per litre, is that correct or should I get my bike looked at ya reckon? cuz I hear so many people say they get just over 300Km from their bikes? and I don't even ride hard...

Just a quick one , I was kinda wondering what sort of range should you get out of a full tank on a 05' 636? having quite a large family I tend to try to be more on the lean side, she never really goes over 10,000 RPM I cruise at 80Kph in 4th at around 6,000 RPM... I always use BP ...
