Re: zx7r bracket dealy
The tank is about 6 inches away from the ride height adjuster. The tank is supported by the steel frame thats sits across the subframe. Just took my tank off on the weekend and noticed the rubber bungs on the bottom of my tank are gone. Bloody mechanics.....probably took them off because they were ...

Re: WSBK ZX7RR Restoration
That was my biggest problem when building it. The two 6 x 100 rails which hold the bottom bracket and the front and rear hubs were drilled together so I know they are all the right distances apart. I just bolted one to the frame and then lined up the other with some fishing line through holes ...

Re: WSBK ZX7RR Restoration
Haven't done much lately. Was planning to get it finished at Christmas but got a letter in the mail saying that I had to get my deck certified so that meant spending cash on the handrails to get it done. Then the hot water system blew up, then thepool pump crapped itself, then the chemical system ...

Re: Another Modded ZX7 - But this one is NICE :O)
The bike could have got a lot more credit if he designed all his own fairings rather than using bits of others. I think Durbahn does some of the nicest work around and his are basically a road bike then converted into his 'custom' style.

Re: ZX7R - I need help to continue racing
Department of transport should have registration details if one was registered before that date but you'd probably need to explain it pretty well as they would have to do a search by the VIN. This would be my first port of call.

Re: WSBK ZX7RR Restoration
Not much doing lately as I'm planning a trip overseas and renovating the house at the same time. To keep the wife happy, I have to do a little of each every weekend. Here's a pic of what the bike looks like at the moment. Fairing doesn't fit as well as I'd like so I'm going to sand it back, putty it ...

That's an awesome piece of graphic artistry.....sorry...had to laugh.....but he's on the right track.
I think if your going to advertise your business, get away from the green altogether.
Why don't you do a 'Camel' replica and replace it with ELITE and change the camel to some gym equipment.

Re: ZX7RR Fairings in Carbon / Kevlar
Thanks Mitch. I'll keep going with these at the moment. My main issue is the screen now. The one I have doesn't seem to fit well on either sets of fairning so the one I sold you was probably the correct one.
I'll have a talk to some guys down here that make screens to see how they would go after I ...

Re: ZX7RR Fairings in Carbon / Kevlar
I'm planning a trip to Italy / France / UK / Switzerland for the 'Tour de France' in July so I doubt that I'll have the bike finished before then. I'll probably visit the guys in Italy that I bought it off to see what bits they have.
I'll ride it occasionaly but it won't be raced.

Re: ZX7RR Fairings in Carbon / Kevlar
If your looking for older model 91/92 ZXR750 fairings I have a carbon fibre set off Mladins bike, but you're probably looking for newer model fairings.
I'm probably haven't been any help at all

Re: ZX7RR Fairings in Carbon / Kevlar
Had a look at Racers edge. Mostly road molds used for race. Not specifically race versions. Upper part was close but I have just realised one of my fairings is the older style so I might fix it and make the mold myself.

Re: Advice Needed from the ZX7R guru's ....
I've got the 96' road version, nothing there and the WSBK version with all the 2D data telemetry and nothing there.
Nothing like that on the 89' model either.
sorry mate

ZX7RR Fairings in Carbon / Kevlar
I am looking for somone that would make a set of Carbon / Kevlay fairings for my WSBK. I am not looking for street fairings with the holes blocked up. Another option is to buy a set of molds and modify them myself so they fit correctly. I have a set already but they are fibre glass and the wrong ...
