In the UK one of the best mags that give advice on all parts of biking is "RiDE Magazine. The link will let you browse through the mag, it has bits about helmets in it :supz: among other things

I like Arai, but at the end of the day it is personnal choice. When i need a new helmet i save through ...

True, but there is a point where you start paying beyond the safety bracket and pay for the brand and design.
A helmet can only be that safe.
Arai has SNELL/DOT + AS approved, so does a HJC and many other brands.[/quote]

Tiggs i thought the same espcialy when the thread is about 14 pages but then tried to read it backwards and for the life of me i couldn't work out what the hell was going on :wink:

Hi Big unit,

i have an Oxford tank bag (bear in mind oxford is probably a british company) which is magnetic. It is good and does not get in the way of the handlebars (i have a ZX9R). However when it is fully expanded it gets difficult to see the gauges.

I have never scratched my tank yet ...

Not at all, ARAI are just great quality and if you shop around you get bargains :supz:

I suppose it depends on how much you value your head. Would rather pay good money for a decent chance if i come off, god forbid :D
