Re: Personalised plates: You be the judge.
Had them on my old bike, thought better of it on my current one - the less memorable the better. Especially with a loud exhaust and the EPA report a vehicle BS.

Re: Seat bag + Exhaust suggestions
+1,
I recently bought one of those ventura seat bags, the larger of the two. Very convenient, 4 easy clips on/off and the baseplate stays on the bike. Haven't had enough stuff to use it when expanded though. Pricey for what it is (I think I paid ~$100-110 at MCA on wentworth avenue) but its well ...

Re: Question re Pillion Comfort on ZX-14
Hate to spread my communistic honda ways, but have you considered a blackbird? A sportsbike they're not, but for typical australian bumpy country roads, its very plush. Excellent pilion comfort too.
I really like the busa too, but yes its position is a little sporty - although nothing ...

Re: Z750 Performance
I like my Z750, has plenty of punch.
I have thought about a z1000 for about 20secs, why do you need it? :?
Sydney most streets are 50km/hr, motorways 110km/hr, many cops, traffic, speed cameras, bad drivers, taxi's.
Again can someone justify the extra power a z1000 has?

I couldn't get used to the sit up and beg seating position. But they can be found cheap and with a nice exhaust and clippons I wouldn't complain if someone gave me one

Re: Z750 Performance
-1 tooth on front sprocket should give you some cheap thrillls. Dont waste your time trying to get more power out of it, once you've spent 500 for the pc3, 500-1000 on the exhaust, ~$250 for custom map, say 150 for performance air filter - thats nearly 2k. And with the pc3 you'll likely get less ...
