Then do as per drawing. Don't forget to cut the dodgy wire out of the circuit (black crosses).
Sorry for the late response been full on with work ...I have tried your idea and it doesn;t help im afraid. light goes out totally and stays out. thanks for your idea though.

You don't want to bypass the switch - you say it's working?

Hi all I have been slowly putting my old 88 modell gpz back on the road and have everything done except for one thing. Im having a problem with the oil warning light obn the dash, it stays on constantly. Oil level is good but even if I pull the wire off the the sender the light on the dash stays on ...
