Have found a soloution .If anyone finds themselves in the same situation California sport touring inc. make shims which solve the problem .cheers for all the help.

This is the offending bulb,It has no H markings and the two lower pins are different to standard H4s.Anyone have any ideas?

The bulbs in my '01 zx7r are 12v 45/45w stanleys.I went to get replacements and according to the local dealer and my chassis no. they should be H4's but H4's don't fit and there are no markings on the bulbs to tell me what they are.Can anyone shed some light on this for me.
