If you position them incorrectly the only issue you will have is a wear hole at the back of the steel cap as it slips forward when shifting( this only happens after the expected life of the ...

Hi I would personally fill with clean fuel and run a tank or 2 through it and not bother with it.
No problems other than a minor poor performance issue and maybe a bit of oil burn smoke ( until the fuel is diluted enough not to bother it).
I personally run virgin engines on 1fill of 2stroke mix ...

Re: Blown up ZZR600 ( Where is the chinaman ???)
Thanks for that
I have done some research and found zx6 engines are not interchangable ( so i am told as the configuration is different).
IE the cam chain in the zzr is centralised where as the zx6 designated machine is side mounted.
Wondering if the engine mounting is the same and will it go in ...

Re: Help please, ZZR600 missing.
Hi just my 2 cents worth, however
Recently i had the same issue ( altho mine was down low at 2000-3000rpm mark) after doing my gearbox up and found a new set of leads ( 10 bucks for a continuous length and you cut it to suit ) and another set of plugs ( 3 bucks a peice from Bursons), ( the replaced ...
