My 07 ZX14 was recalled to have engine mount tension checked as this was the issue causing the frame to crack. if its had the check done it will be marked with a punch mark on the headstem on frame. A ZX14 chews fuel and chews tyres. It is not a bike for commuting on.

Great bike, only reason i got rid of it is it wouldn't stop. Worst brakes i have ever had on bike. And after it was custom mapped, with pipe and filter fitted it was putting out 180rwhp, so it needed to be able to stop. lol I would own one again no problems, but just make sure Smitty doesnt ...

Chances of getting the green and black here in OZ would be so slim its not funny.

They all run hot, its common with them. I have actually seen one in the CBD being used as a courier bike.. Has the fairings removed off it too..

The bike is so good they just change the colours...

I had a problem with loose header nuts on mine.

Caused it to make a ticking sound as well..

Also they do have an automatic cam chain tensioner and it could be what they say as half adjusted.

So when he is saying to give it a blast he is hoping that the tensioner will take up its remaining slack ...

The centre stand is an optional extra. Does not come standard.

Well it may not be the rd variety, but its green and it has Kawasaki on it, so it must be good.
