Re: Going 4 my L's soon...
Hi Everyone! Well Mr went for his Day 2 and passed
I went on Wednesday and Thursday just gone by and passed
but I personally think that our instructor whilst excellent was a bit too lenient. A girl who stacked twice and went up the side embankment twice still passed

How to find out what model my GPX is?
Hi Everyone! I purchased a GPX250 advertised as 2007, all other bikes with the same paint scheme advertised on Bike Sales/Trading post etc says it's 2007 but on the RTA registration papers/RTA vehicle check/REVS it states it's 2006 model and that it's a ZZR when it's OBVIOUSLY a GPX! An exact same ...

Re: Anyone from Wagga Wagga?
Hi Everyone! Thanks to all the replies but I woke up this morning with an off feeling about the whole transaction. I'm quite sure that the couple were honest and so forth but I just felt that I was paying $4000 outright without seeing the bike and paying it first that I don't have any guarantee that ...

Anyone from Wagga Wagga?
Hi Everyone! I'm buying a bike sight-unseen from Wagga Wagga and just wanted to ask if any KSRC members are from Wagga Wagga? I'm wanting someone to just take a quick viewing of the bike, I'll obviously pay for your time. If anyone's interested please PM/Email me.
It's a 2007 model GPX250.
Thanks!

Re: Buying GPX Advise for Newbie
^I wouldn't mind going higher but due to my height and weight I'm more restricted than others. Once I get some experience I don't mind riding a bike heavier or taller but at this stage I want both feet planted firmly on the ground :)

Re: Advice on gear for a learner
Thanks Everyone! Think I'll go with the Joe Leather Aura Women's Jacket then. I really liked the matching leather pants but unfortunately being a shorty the armor were nearly around my ankles  don't think that's where it was meant to be  With leather pants think I may need to go custom ...

Re: Buying GPX Advise for Newbie
HI Seth, considering the red book value is $1,600 - $1,900 (private sale) It seems the guy wants too much, although the K's are low so that is a bonus, seeing as cosmetic is not a problem I would concentrate on the service history, if there is written proof of good service intervals, as a minium ...

Re: Going 4 my L's soon...
^Thanks Mike! Yeah he ended up just having to return to redo day 1 and he's doing day 2 today so hopefully he passes. It seems that he's not the only one with said instructor as when we contacted SU we asked if he'd have the same instructor and the reply was quite comical but nonetheless it was a ...

Re: gear after 12 months.
Sorry I know I'm a Newb but I think this is a great idea! Great for us Newbies or even oldies that are looking for new gear. Gear doesn't really show it's true colours till it's been used a fair bit so reviewing your gear after a certain period is a pretty good concept.

Re: Advice on gear for a learner
I just would want to bump this thread.
Looking at purchasing my first gear. I'm a Learner who will probably only ride twice a week at most for leisure and nothing above 70km/hr at this stage. Should I get Leather or Textile? There's Ladies Rjay Leather Jackets at MCAS for $200 but apparently ...

Re: Latest Insurance Quote
If I was to fully insure a brand new R1 now, it would cost me like 5K a year...Fcuken ridiculous, 5K, over 4 years is a brand new bike. Can't justify doing it if it will cost me that much.

No she didn't go again - she got pregnant instead ;)
You won't be the only one there without any biking experience - it's designed for you.
Of my group only one (not me) had some dirt bike experience. In my Mrs group no-one did.
I suppose a bubba will definitely stop her riding career. Hope all ...

Re: Latest Insurance Quote
Learner's looking to insure my brand new bike. Looking at Insure my Ride but I see that they have 3rd party and theft separate, so if I wanted both do I add the premiums together? Can you get both?
Any other recs for insurance? I've always had cars but as a main driver never as the policy holder ...

Did your Mrs go for it again? I'm just worried I'm going to look like a total fool without any biking experience.
