Finally riding...
Bought myself a ZXR750 about a month ago. Here's what it looked like then....

Re: Petrol sitting in the carbs

I was wondering about that. I wans't sure if it was okay to do or not. Anyone else want to ring in on this topic? Is it okay to run the bike until it's dry even if the tank is off it? I think it'll only be aprat about another two to three weeks (there's a week delay in getting thepaint in ...

Petrol sitting in the carbs
I just thought of this...
I have taken the tank off my bike and drained it in order to thow some paint at it. That was about a week ago. It just occured to me that there is likely to still be some petrol left over sitting in the carbs and lines just waiting to go bad and gum up the entire bike ...

Rachet sizes
I am trying to get ready to take the wheels off my 94 ZXR750. Does anyone know what size rachet and what size hex key I would need? Thanks.

Re: New here....
Hey Nelso,
I'm in Ryde.
Yup...that's the bike as I collected it. The guy had no fairings to go with it, but I kind of like the way it looks. Different.
Seiko...Petrol...right. Still trying to pick up the Aussie language. I hear you speak English here, but it's a bit different from the Canadian ...

Re: New here....
Here's a pic of the bike as it was before doing anything. I'm presently searching for someone who wants to help me take the wheels apart so I can polish or paint them in return for a case of beer. I would do it myself, but I can imagine putting it back together and finding out that there are a bunch ...

Hey...
just bought myself a 94 ZXR 750 (not sure what model  ). Love it. Gave it about a two hour ride, now it's in pieces in my shop waiting to be painted. While that's happening, I plan on taking off the wheels and polishing the rims, as currently one is pink, and the other purple...can't ...
