my first bike...

i was a bit slower than most... not having a bike as a kid due to twin younger brothers putting financial strain on the olds..

i did buy an old heap of shit honda 250 harley look a like.. i rode this without a license for like 2 years.

i then decided i was ready for a real bike ...

i just putting my 2c in about the ZX10

I bought one about 4 months ago now.. intially i was scared of it before i had ridden it due to the bullshit everyone keeps talking about it.. yes the power is there, but used properly is not that bad. Great fun in the wet.. last nite on the way home from work ...

sorry guys.. just re-read the thread and yeah.. 16 was the front sprocket.

right... 17 on the front..

so how did the others on this thread get to a 14 on the front..

all i want is some more take off.. not really up to keeping with the jones'

well i will be looking for a 16 front and a 40 back.

if i changed the front... would i be better of changing both the front and the back?

i was gonna do 14T and 40T

Was thinking that the chain - rear wheel distance would stay about the same that way

Also.. how does the speedohealer work? do i have to get the right one depending on the teeth of the ...

mine is pretty stock.. i got the pack with it when i bought it.. even though the brake lines are not on..

I can definately see the benifit of a smaller front sprocket.. may look into it sometime soon.. she revs to well over 120 in first

i bought a shoei for only one reason... it was the only one that would fit on my head.

I have a full set of dreads that go half way down my back.. and i tried on every helmut know and couldnt find one..

The shoei TZ-1 was the only size that would fit... but in saying that it is a fantastic helmet..

I ride a kwaka ZX10R "05. Sold me "01 Softail Deuce to get it.. cause i was scratching the piss out of the hog.

Taken the bike to our local circuit and had a ball.. will be going to barbagallo asap.

I get right into me music, and play the bass in several bands.
