Front End Diving
When I was on the rider techniques course, we did some emergency braking. When we were doing it I noticed the front end of the bike was diving, and I have also noticed it if I have to do some heavy braking when out and about. I remember reading somewhere that changing the fork oil can make a difference. Is this correct? If so, what would you recommend?

It's meant to dive...
You need to find out if it's excessive...
Cars dive as well.. It's excessive dive that causes the front to lock up (on non ABS cars).

How old is it Essie might need a freshen up at 20000kms and I dont think theres a adjustement for compression on the bottom of those forks.
They all get a bit divey under brakes the trade off is if its setup to brake at 200kph it may be a little harsh on the road.

if there is no "give" in ur suspension esie, then wen u touch the front anchors u will lock up the front wheel..thats not good...
u will also notice that as u nail the throttle and "launch the farka" the back will squat a little....thats normal too..if it doesnt squat, it spins, or lifts the front wheel, therefore taking drive away from the rear...
back to the front...
if its too hard & it doesnt dive at the front, u will push wide round corners as ur front insnt absorbing bumps etc...so the trick is to find out if its enough/too much....
for that, u will need to get the static sag set up , this will help greatly, and from there, its a matter of preference, and riding styles etc...
