KSRC joins the MCCofNSW
KSRC have recently been asked if we would like to join the Motorcycle Council of NSW.
We obviously accepted this offer, as we are good motorcycling citizens, and have nominated 3 representatives to be involved with discussions and decision making within the council.
They are Me and Phil with Glen also nominated as reserve if one of us cannot be contacted.
We will keep KSRC informed of the goings on and will also put to the council any concerns or proposals our members have.
For information on the MCCofNSW please check the web site.

this is definately good news.
but a bit of concern.
do our rides remain privately organised, or now that we are a club with a profile, do they become club organised as we are all members and therefore open us to possible legal issues?

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Vin i would suggest that this might go down (if it isn't there already) the avenue of it is an official group which organises the occasional meetup at the most (i.e. bbq, a movie, etc) however if some members decide to preceed said event with a ride. It is a non ksrc affiliated ride, they just happen to use the ksrc medium (forum) to contact other members interested in going on said ride.
the ride is non sponsored by ksrc, non organised by ksrc, and any incidents that occur on a ride are specifically and only related to the invividuals in said incident. Then IANAL and thank god im not!

Nothing changes at KSRC. Rides are still privately organised, we are not registered, incorporated or any of that..
We just have an opportunity to have a say within the mcconsw as we are a known riding group.
Simple as that...
We have been recognised from a couple of things. Obviously our size and visible profile with T's and things, an existing delegate is a KSRC member, our involvement in the rider survey and an iinfamous incident on the Putty rd all brought us to there attention....
and they will add us to the website soon. I sent them the logo last night....
